Training Faculty is a Training Center-designated role that sits between being an independent instructor and running your own Training Center. As a Faculty member under RGV CPR, you are authorized to run AHA Instructor Essentials courses — meaning you can train and certify new BLS and Heartsaver instructors in your community.
The instructors you certify either align directly with RGV CPR under your oversight (Training Center Faculty pathway), or align under your own Training Site that operates under RGV CPR's TC umbrella (Training Site Faculty pathway). Either way, you are building something — and you are not doing it alone.
This is not a title. It is a function. There are real oversight responsibilities, real minimums, and real accountability. It is also one of the most powerful positions in the AHA training network for an independent instructor who wants to grow.

Start where you are. Grow into the next level when you're ready. Both pathways require the same quality standard — 90%+ Atlas score, minimum 12 courses taught, and a genuine commitment to instructor development.
Training Center Faculty (TCF)
You run Instructor Courses. The instructors you certify align directly with RGV CPR under your oversight. No Training Site business required.
INSTRUCTORS ALIGN: Directly with RGV CPR
ECARD RATE: Discounted
ECARD RESALE: No - instructors buy from RGV CPR
ECARDS SHOW: RGV CPR + instructor name
MAX INSTRUCTORS: Up to 12 instructors
AHA TS Criteria: Not required
PRODUCTION GOAL: 3 instructors by month 12 | 6 by month 24
TCF who later meet AHA Training Site criteria can transition to TSF — the natural next step, not a new application.
Training Site Faculty (TSF)
You operate your own Training Site under RGV CPR's TC umbrella. Your business name appears on every card your instructors issue. You buy and resell eCards.
INSTRUCTORS ALIGN: Under your Training Site
ECARD RATE: Discounted + resale rights to your instructors
ECARD RESALE: Yes - you set the price for your instructors
ECARDS SHOW: RGV CPR + instructor name + Training Site name
MAX INSTRUCTORS: Up to 12 instructors. Must appoint additional faculty for every 12 instructors.
AHA TS Criteria: Maintain minimum 5 instructors, train combined 250 students/year,own equipment
PRODUCTION GOAL: 3 instructors by month 12 | 5 by month 24
