Our instructor courses are a two-day, hands-on learning experience. ​

  • BLS Instructor Course: Friday and Saturday, January 2 - 3, 2026 (Deadline to apply 12/29/25)

  • Heartsaver Instructor Course: Friday and Saturday, February 6 - 7, 2026 (Deadline to apply 2/2/26)

  • BLS Instructor Course: Friday and Saturday, March 6 - 7, 2026 (Deadline to apply 3/2/26)

Course Tuition: $490

The investment for our American Heart Association CPR Instructor Certification Course includes:

  • AHA Instructor Essentials Online Course

  • AHA Digital Instructor Manual

  • AHA Digital Student Manual

  • AHA Digital Course Video

  • 2 day Instructor Class

Prerequisites

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Complete our Instructor Readiness Guide

  • Take the Instructor Readiness Quiz and pass with an 80% or better

  • Be certified at the student level in the course you want to teach (BLS or Heartsaver)

  • Apply for an Instructor Course
