RGV CPR COVID-19 Work Safe Plan

Updated: Feb 24, 2021

RGV CPR is open to serve you and is taking the following precautions to make sure you stay healthy while in our classroom:

  1. All clients will be asked to sanitize their hands upon arrival.

  2. All client's are asked to please wear face mask during class. UPDATE: As of 6/17/20, Hidalgo County mandates that all businesses enforce the use of facial coverings. We have masks available for $1 if you forget to bring yours.

  3. We are limiting enrollment to just 6 persons per class and are suspending skills practice activities that require class participants to work closely together. We have moved to a new location with a large classroom that allows class participants to remain 6 ft apart.

  4. Each table and all common areas are sanitized with a bleach/water solution prior to class. Each classroom table will also have a bottle of hand sanitizer on it.

  5. There will be no sharing of equipment (i.e. manikins, AED's, bag mask). All equipment is sanitized prior to each class.

  6. We highly encourage our clients to consider our blended learning courses which allows participants to complete 90% of the class online and then come in for hands-on practice and get checked off on skills. Skills sessions require less than one hour of class time. Clients receive the same certification valid for 2-years.

  7. UPDATE 9/22/20: ACLS and PALS classroom courses will resume in November 2020. Until then, we are temporarily suspending our 7-hour ACLS and PALS classroom courses. We are still offering our ACLS and PALS online/classroom blended learning option which only requires only 1-hour of class time.

We kindly ask that you do your part in helping others stay healthy by canceling or rescheduling your class if you have flu or cold symptoms. There will be no penalty from us for doing so. Thank you.
