Healthcare providers. If you need your ACLS, BLS, or PALS certification/renewal to continue working, we are still open to serve you and are taking the following precautions to make sure you stay healthy while in our classroom:
All clients will be asked to sanitize their hands upon arrival.
At this time, we are limiting our courses to ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification/recertification courses needed by healthcare professionals to continue working or to start work.
We are limiting enrollment to just 6 persons per class and are suspending skills practice activities that require class participants to work closely together. We have moved to a new location with a large classroom that allows class participants to remain 6 ft apart.
Each table and all common areas are sanitized prior to class. Each classroom table will also have a bottle of hand sanitizer and Kleenex on it for client use as needed.
There will be no sharing of equipment (i.e. manikins, AED's, bag mask). All equipment is sanitized prior to each class.
As is always our practice, clients will receive their own manufacturer wrapped, disposable training valve (mouthpiece) to use with pocket mask.
Cough and sneeze covering precautions will be strictly enforced.
We highly encourage clients to consider the ACLS, BLS, PALS blended learning courses which allows participants to complete 90% of the class online and then come in to practice and get checked of on skills. Skills sessions require less than one hour of class time. Clients receive the same AHA certification valid for 2-years.
We kindly ask that you do your part in helping others stay healthy by canceling or rescheduling your class if you have flu or cold symptoms. There will be no penalty from us for doing so. Thank you and thank you for all the great work you are doing in our community!
