This American Heart Association (AHA) basic life support (BLS) course is designed for both medical professionals and those in/or entering school for a profession in the medical field (i.e. nurses, doctors, PA's, paramedics, EMT's, therapists, dentists).

 

Course Content:

  • High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants

  • Use of an AED

  • Effective ventilations using a bag mask

  • Advanced airway resuscitation and rescue breathing in patients with a pulse

  • Importance of teams in a multi-rescuer resuscitation 

  • Relief of foreign -body airway obstruction (choking) in adults/children and infants

  • 25 question multiple-choice test
